Starting a modeling career is exciting, but for many families it can also feel unfamiliar and overwhelming. My portfolio sessions are designed specifically for teens and new models who are just beginning their journey. I focus on creating clean, natural images that agencies actually look for, while guiding young models step by step so they feel comfortable, confident, and truly themselves in front of the camera. Parents are always part of the process, and every session is approached with professionalism, encouragement, and an age-appropriate environment where confidence comes first and great images follow naturally.

Most agencies are not looking for heavy styling or dramatic images when a model is starting out. They want to see natural expressions, personality, and versatility. During the session, I guide models through the essential looks agencies typically request.

What to Expect

1. Pre-Session Planning
We discuss goals, agency submissions, wardrobe ideas, and overall direction.

2. Guided Photoshoot
I coach posing and expressions throughout the session so new models never feel unsure.

3. Image Selection
You’ll review proofs together and choose the images that best represent the talent.

4. Natural Retouching & Delivery
Final images are professionally retouched while keeping a natural, age-appropriate look.

I regularly work with teens and understand that a first professional photoshoot can feel like a big step. Parents or guardians are always welcome to be present (it’s actually required for the very young models), and sessions are collaborative, respectful, and encouraging. My goal is to create an environment where young models feel confident and supported from start to finish.

Every new model’s needs are different. These sessions are designed to provide agency-ready images while keeping the experience relaxed and confidence-building. Because families are often investing in classes, agency fees, and other early career expenses, these portfolio sessions are intentionally structured to be more accessible than my commercial and business headshot work while maintaining the same professional quality and care.
