An actor’s headshot is one of the most important tools you can have. And the requirements for a good headshot may seem too many, and sometimes overwhelming.
These requirements boil down to one thing: a headshot is a true representation of you, clear, polished, and interesting.
I’ve worked with hundreds of actors, teachers, casting directors, and agents and managers. I know the online submission process well. And once you’re in my studio, my focus is on helping you bring your best expression to your images. It’s a team work and I’m there with you.
How it works
Getting your headshots should be creative, fun, and goal oriented. You will walk away with the images that best represent your work.
- Schedule a session.
I have an online scheduler where you can pick a day and time. I’ll call you back, and we’ll go over what to bring, and any questions you might have. We will talk about your goals and expectations for the shots.
- Shoot.
Your session should be fun and creative, and I will guide you, watching for details on camera. We will work to bring those expressions that you want to capture.
- Pick your images.
Right there at end of the session, we will go through all images, and you will select what images you want to keep and what images will be discarded. After you leave, I will retouch the selected images and send them to you, most likely within 24 hours (depending on volume).
About your photographer
A one-eyed photographer. Aye, matey. And this one eye can see the best in you: your best angles, your best side.
And it’s your story I want to tell, told through images. I went to film school to tell stories, switched to journalism, then software development. Learned to be the parent of a young actor, and also worked at Breakdown Services for five years. But I’m more into visual tales than anything, so back to your story…
